Although I was never picked for sports teams as a kid, I always thought that golf would be far easier than all the others as it required very little physical exertion in regards to chasing a ball up and down a field for 90 minutes while opponents try to take the legs out from under you. على الرغم من أنني لم تكن ابدا باختيار الفرق الرياضية للطفل كما انني دائما يعتقد أن جولف وسيكون من الاسهل بكثير من كل الاخرين لانه مطلوب ممارسة ماديه ضءيله جدا بالنسبة لفي مطاردة الكرة صعودا ونزولا ميدانيا لمدة حوالى 90 دقيقة بينما المعارضون محاولة اتخاذ الساقين من تحت لكم. I had a rude awakening one day when a friend of mine managed to talk me into playing a few rounds down at one of the local courses. كان لي rude الصحوة يوم واحد عند صديق من الالغام تمكنت من التحدث الى اللعب لي بضع جولات في اسفل واحدة من الدورات المحلية. For starters there were no golf carts, so we had to walk around all 18 holes. بالنسبة للمبتدئين لا توجد عربات الغولف ، ولذلك كان علينا ان المشي حوالي 18 حفرة جميع. That wouldn't have been so bad but for the fact there were no golf caddies on that day either so we had to carry the bags of clubs around too. ان لم يكن سيئا ولكن للحقيقة لم تكن هناك جولف العلب أما في ذلك اليوم حتى كان علينا ان تحمل كيسا من الاندية في جميع انحاء ايضا. Damn those things are heavy! اللعنه هي تلك الاشياء الثقيلة! Golf caddy's do not get paid enough. العلبه للجولف ولا يتقاضون اجورا كافية. To make matters worse, it began to rain half way through the game. مما يزيد الامور سوءا ، وبدا المطر في منتصف الطريق خلال اللعبة. So there I am, soaked, sore, tired and about to drive my tuft of grass another 100 yards, for that is all I seemed to be hitting all morning. ولذلك انا ، مصاصي ، قرحة ، متعب وعلى وشك أن تدفع الخصله من الاعشاب بلدي آخر مسافه 100 يارده ، لهذا كل ما اود يبدو ان تصل الى كل صباح. Someone must have super glued the golf ball to the tee because every time I looked down after swinging that freakin club, there it was, smiling up at me, wondering why I wasn't hitting it. شخص ما يجب ان يكون سوبر glued فان جولف الكرة الى المحمله لأن في كل مرة نظرت الى اسفل بعد ان يتأرجح freakin النادي ، وكان هناك ، حتى في الابتسام لي ، وأنا أتساءل لماذا لم تكن لتصل اليها. On the few occasions that I did manage to hit it, it made a lovely plopping sound as it hit the water, sinking into the murky depths of the nearest water hazard, never to be seen again. وفي المناسبات القليلة التي فعلت ادارة لتصل اليها ، فقد حقق السقوط الصوت الجميل ، حيث بلغت المياه ، غرق في اعماق مظلم من اقرب المياه خطر ، على ان ينظر اليها ابدا مرة اخرى. Or I spent the rest of my time doing a David Attenborough as I searched through the rough long grass (in vein I might add) looking for that elusive white golf ball. او قضيت بقية وقتي في اداء ديفيد attenborough كما تم البحث خلال الخام الاعشاب الطويلة (في هذا السياق اود ان اضيف) أن تبحث عن والجولف والكرة البيضاء بعيد المنال. I actually managed to find many day glow and colored golf balls on my safari for my own but alas it was never found. انا فعلا تمكنت من العثور على كثير من اليوم ويتوهج على الكرات الملونة جولف بلدي سفاري لبلدي ولكن للأسف وجدت انه لم يكن ابدا. In all I lost 12 golf balls that day but managed to recover 9 multi colored ones that didn't belong to me. في جميع انني فقدت 12 كرات الغولف في ذلك اليوم لكنه تمكن من استعادة 9 ملونة متعددة منها التي لا تنتمي الى لي. This leads me to believe I'm not alone in my inability to hit a golf ball straight. هذا يقودني الى الاعتقاد انا ليست وحدها في بلدي لتصل الى عجز للجولف الكرة مباشرة. I didn't come across the dead bodies of any lost golfers looking for their own golf balls but I was fully expecting to. انا لم يعثر جثث فقدت اي golfers اتطلع لكرات الجولف الخاصة بها ولكنني كنت تتوقع تماما. Just when I was about to assign golf to a watery grave by hurling my 9 iron as far across the nearest water hazard as I could, two extremely attractive females came walking over the hill behind us. فقط عندما كنت على وشك ان يسند الى جولف مائي خطير من قبل القذف بلادي 9 الحديد وفيما يتعلق عبر اقرب المياه خطر وكما قلت يمكن ان اثنين من الاناث جذابة للغاية وجاء سيرا على الاقدام فوق تلة وراءنا. They too were searching for their lost golf balls. فهي أيضا تبحث عن المفقودة كرات الغولف. (I swear you couldn't make this stuff up if you were writing a film.) (أقسم أنك لا تستطيع ان تقدم هذه الاشياء حتى لو كنت في كتابة الفيلم.) We exchanged golfing disaster stories and after a bit of chatting decided to retire to the club house for the day to escape the rain and plan a new strategy of attack. تبادلنا القصص والكوارث ولعب الجولف بعد قليلا من الدردشه وقرر ان يتقاعد لنادي بيت ليوم هربا من الامطار وخطة استراتيجية جديدة للهجوم. Thanks to my golfing disaster we now have dates for this Friday night and although I caught the cold, lost my balls and was thoroughly pissed off for most of the game. وبفضل بلدي الكوارث ولعب الجولف لدينا الآن مواعيد لهذه ليلة الجمعة وعلى الرغم من مسكت الباردة ، فقدت بلدي الكرات بدقة وبالنسبة لمعظم من متبول للعبة. (I was losing a bet with my friend) I can't help but feel that meeting girls at a stadium of 90,000 screaming fans just would not have happened. (ط تخسر رهان مع صديقي) لا يسعني الا ان نرى ان الاجتماع الفتيات في الملعب من مشجعين 90000 يصرخون فقط لن يحدث. Although I'm still useless at golf, my opinion of the sport has changed completely. ورغم ما زلت غير مجديه في الغولف ، وأرى ان من الرياضة قد تغيرت تماما. Not only for obvious reasons but I've come to learn there is a great deal of skill required to hit a ball straight with a bent club in a cross wind. ليس فقط لاسباب واضحة ، ولكني قمت حان لمعرفة وهناك قدر كبير من المهاره المطلوبة لتصل الكرة مباشرة مع بنت في النادي عبر الرياح. So the next time you laugh at the poor guy or girl who is hitting a golf club into the ground repeatedly, show them a little sympathy as they may be at the end of their teather. حتى في المرة التالية التي تقوم تضحك على الفقراء أو فتاة من رجل هو ضرب للجولف ونادي مرارا وتكرارا الى ارض الواقع ، تبين لهم قليلا من التعاطف لأنها قد تكون في نهاية من teather. And the next time you see a pro sink a ball in 2 shots, stand in awe at the amount of time, patience and effort they must have put in to their game to become THAT good. والمرة التالية التي رأيت الموالية للكرة في بالوعه 2 طلقات ، يقف في الرهبه في قدر كبير من الوقت والصبر والجهد ويجب ان يكون لها وضع في لعبة الى ان تصبح جيدة.
